For the first time ever, Kore Essentials gives you the ability to easily adjust your Battle Belt – tighter or looser - in tiny ¼” increments – while sitting, walking, running or even crawling thru the mud – without ever undoing or unbuckling your belt. So, if you ate too much for lunch, let it out ½”, or if you prefer, tighten it as much as humanly possible to hold all your gear. It’s easy and takes literally a split second to make an adjustment.

How did we do it? Kore battle belts (1.75” wide) use a hidden track system that’s sewn into the back of the outer Molle belt. This track gives you over 20+ size positions to choose from, in small ¼” increments. Then the outer belt attaches to our unique, collapsible inner belt via hook & loop Velcro. The inner belt goes thru your belt loops to hold up your pants and then supports the weight of the outer belt. The result = this rugged 2-belt system moves - in and out - in unison to optimize the fit, stability and comfort.
Our patent pending system is not interchangeable with other traditional battle belts or cobra buckles that require you to undo their belts in order to adjust them. Kore battle belts are unique and one-of-a-kind products. The 2 belts (outer & inner) must be used together to make it function properly. Keep in mind, this innovative system may not be for everyone.
As a result of our adjustment system, Kore battle belts (aka; war belts or operator belts) hold your firearm & gear firmly at your side, eliminating any sag, or slag. This new belt technology makes our battle belts the best fitting and most comfortable ever. This belt is going to change your range days forever.
Kore battle belts are 1.75” wide and are constructed using our proprietary reinforced Power-Core™ Center. This core is actually stronger than any steel core and virtually indestructible. This proprietary material was designed and tested over 2 years to provide superior support & durability, while maintaining a unique amount of flexibility for all day movement and comfort. As a result, after 2 years and thousands sold, we’ve NEVER had even one Power-Core™ belt break. The outer nylon webbing and molle is rated to 500 lbs. and is extremely durable (doesn’t wear) and is water/sweat resistant. We know firsthand that a great battle belt needs to be heavy-duty, reliable, and yet be comfortable enough to wear all day – sitting, standing, walking and training.
Kore battle buckles are zinc alloy and black powder coated. Although they may look different from our edc belts, the mechanism and function is the same. All Kore buckles use a patented spring system that “locks” the belt in place, but with a touch of the release tab - you can quickly adjust or remove it entirely - fast. We use 2 set screws and a teeth clamp to keep the belt attached to the buckle, so it never pulls out on its own.
With Kore battle belts are One-Size Fits Most and fit any waist from 24” up to 48”. That means your belt will arrive in one, very long size and you trim to it fit. It’s easy to do and once it’s done – you’re able to adjust your belt “in and out” 5 inches. That’s a huge amount of adjustment. And yes it will fit you if your waist is 48”. We added extra length to go thru the buckle and first belt loop.
How to Size Your Kore Battle Belt. There is a QR code printed on the instructions, that links to a tutorial video.
First, you’ll need a pair of sharp, heavy-duty scissors, shears or large serrated knife and the long white Kore measuring tape. Do not use your own measuring tape or any other tools. Start by laying the outer battle belt with molles (loops) up on a table. Next, overlay the Kore Measuring Tape down the length of belt. Be careful to line up the track graphic on the tape, with the gray colored 5-inch track on the belt. Then locate your pant size on the measuring tape. So if your favorite pant size is 36” – you are going to cut the battle belt at that 36” mark. Cut it straight and preferably just past a row of stitching to keep the molles attached. You may have to go up an inch to do that. Once the belt is cut, grab your buckle, back out or remove the hex screws using the 2 mm wrench, insert the belt all the way into the receptacle, molle facing outward – clamp down the teeth. Don’t tighten the screws until after you try the belt on and check the fit. When you do, be careful not to strip or overtighten the hex screws. The screws go in last.
Next, lay the smaller inner Velcro belt on the table alongside with the measuring tape alongside. The belt hex material should be alongside or under the track graphic, because you’re going to cut from the end opposite the hex material. Next, find your pant size – subtract one inch - and cut. For example if your pants are a 36” size – cut inner belt at 35” mark on the tape. Then trim any excess threads or lightly singe the end with a lighter.
Try it on and see how it fits. Feed your inner Velcro belt thru your belt loops and attach the end with the pull-tab over the Velcro. The 4” hex section should be centered on your pants over the front zipper. The hex area should not have any part of the Velcro inner belt extending behind it. This is so the hex section can collapse when needed without interference. If it does, trim that small section off the inner belt. So for example, if you see an inch of Velcro material behind the 4” hex area – trim off another inch of inner belt. Then you can attach and squeeze the metal end cap to the inner belt and clamp down the teeth.
Next, take your outer belt and position your buckle on the right edge of the hex material so it is hanging over that section. Feed the battle belt Right to Left aligning it and sticking it to your inner belt Velcro as you go. When the battle belt tip comes around from the left, feed it thru the buckle and pull until snug. You should have 4-5 inches of in and out adjustment. If the belt is too long, remove it and cut off 1” at a time until it works properly. The small release and adjustment tab is under the buckle and you just pinch it to activate it.
Once it’s sized properly you can tighten down the hex screws gently. Lastly, you can attach the belt keeper using its own Velcro next to the buckle. It holds the tip down.
You’re ready to load up your battle belt molle with holster, mag pouches, dump bag, med kit and whatever else you prefer.
All of Kore products carry a 30 Day Money-Back Guarantee and full 1 Year Replacement Warranty under normal usage conditions.
Please note that “cut or sized” Battle belts are not returnable or refundable because they cannot be resold, so make sure you like the belt first and cut with caution.
