SHOT Show 2026 Recap - New Gear for Kore Essentials

Shot Show 2026 has come and gone, and with it came some incredibly exciting products for the firearm industry. Whether you’re a casual gun owner who values your concealed carry or a police officer heading into duty every day, there was something there for you. At Kore Essentials, we had a blast showcasing all of the new products we have coming out this year and we got some valuable feedback from our visitors. If you missed the show, don’t worry, because today we’re going to walk you through everything that Kore Essentials revealed at Shot Show 2026. The KLS [Kore Locking System]

The big ticket item that we were eager to showcase this year was our very own KLS, or Kore Locking System. Improving the design of brands like Safariland and Alien Gear, we decided to develop our own quick holster exchange system that streamlines the process for changing your holster. Constructed with high-temp glass polymer and aluminum, the KLS is designed to withstand the elements without warping and compromising the security of your firearm. 

Compatible with the Safariland, Alien Gear and Bladetech hole patterns, the KLS is the most universal holster swapping system on the market today. If you have any holsters or holster mounts that use these hole patterns, the KLS will work for you. We designed the Kore Locking System to be simple, low-profile, easy to use, and incredibly durable (nothing inside the KLS is plastic). Changing your holster with the KLS is easy, and it can be done with one hand while maintaining positive control of your firearm.

The KLS is a two-part system that uses a low-profile receiver constructed with Glass Polymer and Aluminum, and a mount that’s constructed entirely with high-grade aluminum.

How Does the KLS Work?

1. First, install the male end of the KLS on your holster.
2. Next, insert the male end of the KLS all the way into the KLS receiver until you hear a click.
3. Second, engage the lever on the side of the receiver to completely lock your holster in.
4. Enjoy!
5. To remove, lift that lever on the side of the mount. At this point, the KLS mount is still locked in tight to the KLS receiver.
6. To fully disengage the KLS and remove the mount from your holster, engage the slide button at the bottom of the KLS receiver and pull your mount out.

With that, you’ve just removed your KLS and you’re now ready to swap holsters. It’s really that simple. With just one hand, three steps and three seconds, you can easily swap your holsters for something new.

At Kore Essentials, we have the privilege of working with and serving law enforcement agencies around the globe. At our store, we frequently have law enforcement officers visit and we’re always eager to get their hands on our new products and pick their brains about what we could be doing to improve their lives. One sentiment that we’ve consistently heard is that retaining your equipment during an engagement is a serious challenge. 

We took this information and got to work planning a solution, and what resulted is going to absolutely revolutionize your setup.

Magnetic Mag Pouches - Leather, Nylon & Polymer

Introducing the Kore Essentials Rigid and Flex series Magnetic Mag pouches (coming soon). Available in leather, nylon and High-Temp Glass polymer, these mag pouches are embedded with magnets to provide unmatched retention for your gear. The magnets give the retention to keep your mags locked in tight, while the ergonomic design of the pouches makes accessing your gear quick and easy. 

The leather and nylon options feature a fold-over closure that securely locks to the pouch itself via a quick-access magnetic lock. There are no buttons that you have to press to access your mags or to lock them away, so accessing your gear is very simple. 

The Kore magnetic mag pouches are compatible with 2.25” duty belts and they work seamlessly with our micro-adjustable duty belts. If you’re a police officer who’s looking to upgrade your mag pouches and keep your gear locked tight to your duty belt without worrying about equipment getting lost, the Kore magnetic mag pouches are an excellent option for you.

Magnetic Cuff Pouches - Single & Double Cuff Pouches  

Next on our list are the Kore Essentials magnetic cuff pouches. Similarly, these are available in leather, nylon and high-temp glass polymer options. These magnetic handcuff pouches are universally compatible with your standard handcuffs, including but not limited to: Smith & Wesson, Peerless, and 1912 handcuffs. 

The magnetic retention system pulls your handcuffs into the receptacle and with a slight press from your hand, you can secure your handcuffs with ease. Just like the nylon and leather mag pouches, the leather and nylon cuff pouches also feature a magnetic clasp system that allows you to access your handcuffs with ease while keeping them locked tight until you need them. 

Universal Radio Pouch - Adjustable Radio Pouch

There are a lot of different radios out there, and a whole lot of outdated equipment being used to keep them secure. To address this, we took it upon ourselves to develop a universal, adjustable radio pouch that’s designed to adapt to any radio system. No matter what type of Motorola or other radio you’re rocking, the Kore Essentials Universal Radio Pouch should work for you. 

Constructed with high-temp glass polymer, this radio mag pouch has a fully adjustable width, allowing it to accommodate a variety of radios. Bungees at the base of the pouch can be adjusted to widen or tighten the width of the radio pouch. The Kore radio pouch is also outfitted with an innovative FidLock® ratcheting system that delivers positive, adjustable retention with one-handed release. The Kore Essentials Universal Radio Pouch is compatible with 2” and 2.25” duty belts

Kore Essentials Holster Mounts

We released the Kore Essentials holster mount in 2025 and it was a huge success, but we didn’t want to stop there. Our dynamic and fully aluminum holster mount system seamlessly integrates with holsters using the Safariland hole pattern, making it a highly versatile piece of equipment. It’s designed specifically for 1.75” and 2.25” belts, so it’s fully compatible with Kore Essentials duty belts and molle battle belts. Understanding the success of this, we wanted to take these holster mounts even further, leading to the development of the Kore Essentials Holster Mount Mid and the Kore Essentials Holster Mount Mini.

Kore Essentials Mount Mid [Adjustable Holster Mount System]

Robust and duty-ready, the mount mid is a fully adjustable holster mount system, compatible with 1.25” gun belts all the way up to 2.25” duty belts. Using the Safariland 3-hole pattern, the Kore Mount Mid is compatible with most holsters, giving you the flexibility to create dynamic loadouts. The Kore Mount Mid is constructed with high-temp glass polymer, making it incredibly durable and heat resistant; perfect for duty applications in any environment.

With an adjustable 15-degree positive and negative cant, you can really position your holster exactly how you like it with the Mount Mid. Like all Kore Holster Mount Systems, the Kore Mount Mid is compatible with the Kore Locking System, giving you the ultimate freedom to tailor your gear exactly how you see fit.

Kore Essentials Mount Mini [Holster Mount System for 1.5” Gun Belts]

When developing this product, we were shocked to find that no one else on the market had made a holster mount system for 1.5” gun belts, so it was a no-brainer that we’d be the first. Keeping with the theme of simplicity and reliability, the Kore Essentials Mount Mini is a simple click-on holster mount system that’s designed specifically for 1.5” belts. 

The Kore Mount mini uses the Safariland 3-hole pattern, making it compatible with most is holsters. Constructed with High-Temp Glass Polymer for heat and impact resistance, the Kore Mount Mini is a durable and compact holster mount, perfect for open carry.  The Mount Mini features 15-degree positive and negative cant adjustments, so you can tailor your setup to your exact preference. Additionally, the Kore Mount Mini offers mid holster ride height for balanced draw and concealment.

All Kore Holster Mount systems are compatible with the KLS, so if you’re looking to integrate your setup with the Kore Locking System, you can.

The Swinger Mount - Mag Canting Solutions

If you’re looking for canting solutions for your mags that seamlessly integrate with your Kore Molle Battle Belt or your current belt system, then the Kore Swinger Mount is right for you. Designed for speed, flexibility and simplicity, the Kore Swinger Mounts offer you ~55° of rotation in either direction for your pistol and AR mags. The Swinger Mount secures directly onto your mag pouches and seamlessly slides onto your molle belt, locking in place with the included hardware. As simple as it is, it makes a huge difference for the accessibility and comfort of your belt system. The Swinger Mount will be available in single pistol, double pistol and single AR mag options.

Kore Essentials Muffin Top Pads - Battle Belt Quick Deployment System

Our battle belts revolutionized the firearms industry by integrating our patented micro-adjustable ratcheting belt technology with molle battle belts. Thanks to Kore, you can adjust your 1.75” molle belt on the fly without having to fiddle with finicky adjustment systems that take time and feel clunky. In an effort to make the molle battle belt even more accessible and easy to use, we released our Muffin Top Pads quick deployment system, to overwhelming success. 

The Kore Muffin Top Pads velcro to the inside of your outer belt, eliminating the need for an inner belt and allowing you to throw your battle belt over top of your equipment. Each pad is manufactured with high-grip fibrous padding on the front and soft loop velcro on the back, allowing it to be integrated with any velcro belt system. To use, simply attach the Kore Muffin Top Pads evenly spaced on the inside of your outer molle belt, then put the belt on overtop of your gear and use it just like you normally would.

Kore Essentials Mag Pouches - For 1.75” Molle Battle Belts

We went with a back-to-basics, no-nonsense design for our mag pouches that delivers premium retention and customizability for your gear. Available in single pistol, single AR, and double pistol + AR, the Kore Mag Pouches are versatile, simple and wildly secure. 

Each mag pouch features a glass polymer insert that delivers the retention to secure your mags and the accessibility when you need them. Kore mag pouches are compatible with double-stack magazines and constructed with best-in-class, laser-cut 1000D nylon, which is lightweight, water-resistant and robust. This low-profile system is engineered to maximize function and comfort for both range days or on-duty usage.

Exclusive Camos - Desert Digi & Splatter Camo 1.5” Belts

We had a lot of fun last year with our camo releases. From Splatter to Desert Digi, we peppered out some great camos that you guys absolutely loved. Internally, there was a huge debate over whether or not we should release the Splatter camo pattern, with about half of the office thinking that no mortal eye should ever have to bear witness to a splatter EDC belt, and the other half thinking it was the perfect addition to our collection. 

To our delight, the Splatter camo belts sold out faster than we could say “well, I never expected that to happen, but I’m very glad that it did.” We had so much fun seeing everyone share their builds and we can’t wait to see what we have coming for 2026. We were happy to welcome world champion shooter, Lena Miculek to the Kore Essentials booth this year. Miculek has been wearing the Kore Essentials competition belt for years, and we're proud to support her with our gear.
